juju deploy alertmanager-k8s --channel 0.31/stable

Alertmanager handles alerts sent by client applications.

Alertmanager K8s is a Juju charm that deploys and manages Prometheus Alertmanager on Kubernetes. It is a core component of the Canonical Observability Stack (COS): https://documentation.ubuntu.com/observability

Alertmanager receives alerts from sources such as Prometheus and Loki, and takes care of deduplicating, grouping, and routing them to the appropriate receiver integrations — including email, PagerDuty, and others. It also supports silencing and inhibition of alerts.

Key features:

  • Native high-availability clustering by simply scaling the application with Juju.
  • Seamless integration with Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Karma, Traefik, and other charms in the COS ecosystem through Juju relations.
  • Built-in Grafana dashboards and Prometheus alert rules for self-monitoring.
  • TLS support via the certificates relation.
  • Distributed tracing support via integration with Tempo.
  • Configurable Kubernetes resource limits for CPU and memory.
