• get-password

  Return the Ranger internal-user passwords held by the charm. Runs on the leader unit of an application with charm-function=admin. Results are stored in plaintext by the Juju controller and are readable by anyone with model access.

• restart

  Restart the application server.

• set-password

  Change a Ranger internal-user password, or reconcile the charm's record with a password that was changed out of band. Runs on the leader unit of an application with charm-function=admin.

  Params

  • override boolean

    Record the supplied password as the applied one without changing it in Ranger, force-resetting Ranger to match if it does not already. Requires password.

  • password string

    The new password. Generated by the charm if omitted, unless override is set.

  • username string

    One of admin, rangerusersync, keyadmin, rangertagsync.
