Platform:
Provision a certificate
In this how-to guide, we will use Notary to download a CSR, sign a certificate and provide this certificate back.
1. Sign the Certificate
Download the CSR from Notary
Using the process of your choice, take this CSR and get it signed by the appropriate Certificate Authority (CA).
2. Upload Certificate to Notary
Once you have received your certificate back, copy and paste it into Notary. Make sure you copy the signing Certificate as well.
If the CSR came from a charm relation, the certificate you’ve uploaded will automatically be forwarded to it. Otherwise, Notary will save the details of this certificate for your convenience.
