#### A modern data exploration and visualization platform.

Apache Superset is a data exploration and visualization platform. It queries any
database that speaks SQL, and turns the results into charts and dashboards that
users can explore from a browser without writing SQL themselves.

This charm automates the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of
Superset on Kubernetes. One charm is deployed as three applications: the web UI,
a Celery worker that runs asynchronous queries, alerts and reports, and a beat
scheduler that dispatches them. It stores its metadata in PostgreSQL, uses Redis
as cache and broker, creates database connections automatically from Trino
catalogs, authenticates users through an identity provider over the oauth
interface, and sends metrics to the Canonical Observability Stack.

It is intended for data platform teams who want governed self-service analytics
without deploying and maintaining Superset manually. It is a core component of
the Canonical Data Mesh solution.
