# Litmus Infrastructure Charm (part of [Charmed Chaos Engineering](https://canonical-chaos-engineering.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/latest/))

`litmus-infrastructure-k8s` is a workloadless beacon charm that, when integrated with the [litmus-chaoscenter-k8s charm](https://discourse.charmhub.io/t/18788), signals the control plane to provision the execution-plane infrastructure required to run chaos experiments in the Juju model where the charm is deployed.

A `litmus-infrastructure-k8s` application represents the execution plane where chaos experiments are actually executed. Unlike the control plane charms, this charm does not run any workload itself — it serves as a signal to the Litmus ChaosCenter that this Juju model is ready to host chaos infrastructure.

Important! This charm is meant to work in conjunction with its counterparts. This documentation only contains charm-specific, and as such relatively low-level documentation. For the solution-level documentation, look at the solution-level [Charmed Chaos Engineering docs](https://canonical-chaos-engineering.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/latest/).
